Hilo Farmers Market: Is it worth visiting?

Big Island, Hawaii

The Hilo Farmer’s Market is a major family friendly attraction on the Big Island. It runs seven days a week “from dawn until it’s done” (usually about 5 pm).

You’ll find fruit and produce grown exclusively on the Big Island. Exotic fruit such as rambutan, dragon fruit, lychee and many more varieties can be found when in season. Much of the produce sold at the market cannot be found in local grocery stores.

Hilo and the Hamakua Coast have many great attractions. It is definitely worthwhile to spend several days on this part of the Big Island.
